Keeping the List
Responsive:

Email Bounce Feature:

The system puts any account in Vacation mode (ON) if the following take place:

  • Invalid address

  • Banned address

  • Full mailbox

  • Or, your receiving server may be:

    • Busy

    • Down

    • Setup wrong

Inactive Member Feature:

The member receives a system reminder when their account has not been used for length of time chosen by Admin - usually between 45-180 days. 

Inactive accounts will be deleted 3-days after the warning email is sent, unless the member logs in and send an email to the list.

  • I can't login, HELP!

Did you pay for your pro membership?

Did you validate your account after paying?:

Verify that you are using the correct username and password!!

You may have been deleted for a violation of safelist rules. Send an email to admin.

  • Lost password!

Go to the Member Login page and click Forgotten Password?  You will then be taken to a page where you enter the CONTACT Email Address you used when joining the list.

  • How do I send my Ad to other members?

When You are in the members Send Ad area, you will see a form with:

Subject: (this where you enter your Subject line)
Message: (This is where you enter your message or ad)

After you have entered all your info, then click the Send Button.

Please note: You may select to either send in HTML or TEXT format. If you do not know anything about HTML, just send in Plain Text. There is also an HTML editor at the bottom to help you with the basics of HTML coding.

  • Sending Message Character Limit:

Set by Admin and usually limited to 5,500 characters per message, in order to keep the systems running quickly so you can stay more productive.

Keep you message short and to the point and you will find much more success.

  • Link Tracking:

Here you may Add the URLs you want to track.  The number available depends upon your membership level.

  • Mailbox Cleaner:

Admin sets which membership levels will have access to this feature and how many mailboxes each will be allowed to add. If user has access to this feature, they will be asked to add their mailbox POP information and then be able to set to auto-delete, notify of errors and edit as many times they need. 

NOTE: Mailbox Cleaner only works with POP email accounts - meaning that it will not work with Yahoo, Google and many other free email accounts.

  • Add Banners:

Admin sets which membership levels will have access to this feature and how many Banner Ad Impressions each will be allowed to have.  If you have access to this feature you will be asked to add your banner locations, edit them or upload them.  At the admin discretion, rotation credits may be deducted for hosting your banners on our server. 

Banners will rotate on the site where Admin has placed the code for rotations.  You will be able to purchase additional banner rotations from this area as well.

  • Auto Send:

Admin sets which membership levels will have access to this feature and how many auto-sends each will be allowed to add.

  • Upgrade Account:

Here you may Upgrade your Membership or extend your subscription period.

  • Members:

Here you will see the number of active members by membership level.

  • Sent:

The amount of emails you have sent since joining the safelist.

  • Sent Ad status:

Tells how long before your next send. 

  • Vacation Mode:

If ON - you cannot send to the list.  After taking yourself off of vacation their is a waiting period before you can send to the list (to prevent cheating).  This waiting period varies according to your membership level.

If ON - you may send to the list according to your membership limits.

  • Sending Status:

If it says Digest - then you will receive 10 ads or more (depends on admin settings) from members in just one mail.  If it set to Single - then you will receive each member ad in one mail.

  • Main Area:

Here you will see the main member area with any admin updates or offers.

  • Send Ad:

Here you will be able to send your ad to other members on the list.

  • Sent Messages:

Here you view the message you have recently sent to the list (number saved depends upon your membership.

  • Affiliate Area:

Here you can view your Referral stats, commission balance owed and paid.   Once in the affiliate area - click on "Affiliate Banners" to see a list of banners and links you can use to promote the list.  Affiliate status and payout amounts vary by membership level.

  • Edit Profile:

Change any information in your personal profile.

  • Delete Account:

You can delete your account anytime by clicking here and entering your username and password to confirm cancellation.  There is also a deletion link at the bottom of every email sent from the list.

  • Safelists Rules:

Click this option and you will be taken to the page with all the Rules you need to follow if you do NOT want your account deleted.

  • User's Guide:

Full instructions for operating this list as a member.

  • Spam Report:

This option will take you to a form if you want to report any Spam from other members in the list.

  • Admin Support:

This option will take you to a form page if you wish to contact the list owner with any feedback, comments or concerns.
